Inspectors find no violations in 'starvation' of vulnerable man at care centre

After completing an inspection at the Ezerkrasti branch of the state social care center "Riga", where a young man with severe developmental disorders was found dangerously underweight, the Health Inspectorate (VI) has recommended that the institution conduct objective weight measurements for all clients upon admission, especially in cases where it is visually apparent that the body weight does not meet the norm, the VI told the LETA newswire.
